North Park
The North Park neighborhood lies just north of Hardin-Simmons University to Interstate 20 between Grape St and Treadaway Blvd. Danyel and Brandon Rogers have lived in the North Park Friendship House since it opened in 2004. Hardin-Simmons University is the generous financial sponsor of this, our first, Friendship House. The North Park Friendship House is located at 2589 Hickory Street and hosts children, youth, parents, senior adults and others in a variety of activities. It also involves student volunteers in serving and building relationships with neighborhood residents.
